Leah M. Driver, CPA, CFO
New Directions Housing Corporation

Leah is the Chief Financial Officer for New Directions Housing Corporation, a non-profit based in Louisville, KY. New Directions specializes in low-income housing primarily located in West Louisville neighborhoods. The organization also works with existing homeowners on home improvement projects through their “Repair Affair” program which is significantly volunteer and sponsorship based. Leah was recently a featured accountant in Louisville Business First’s “20 People to Know in Accounting” in the fall of 2018. She was also acknowledged by News and Tribune’s “20 Under 40 Business Professionals” in Southern Indiana Business Magazine.

Leah began her professional career in public accounting at Deloitte in Louisville, KY. She quickly developed an interest in real estate accounting and tax compliance, enjoying learning the structure of unique partnership agreements, performing tax research, and especially building relationships with her clients and colleagues. Throughout her career, Leah has worked with clients on real estate compliance, accounting, and finance while working for regional firms, MCM CPAs and Advisors and Rodefer Moss & Co.

Leah serves on the board of Louisville based organization, WCRE, Women in Commercial Real Estate. She has been an active member and board member for many years. She enjoys connecting with real estate professionals to tour new or remodeled properties, staying current on what’s new in and around Louisville and Southern Indiana, and developing new and existing relationships.

Leah received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and her Masters of Accountancy from the University of Louisville. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Victoria Mayer, LEED-AP, NCIDQ, IIDA Senior Associate, Design Manager

Victoria Mayer is a Senior Associate with Gensler, a global architecture, design, and planning firm.  Based in Louisville, she works with clients locally and across the country to design inspiring, resilient, and impactful spaces.  In her role as design manager, Victoria handles demanding deadlines while coordinating every project detail regardless of location.  From working on international projects to gaining an understanding of local requirements, she has refined her project management and organizational skills.  With over 20 years of workplace design experience, Victoria develops strategy, evaluates employee engagement and satisfaction, and works with diverse teams across the firm to create spaces where employees can do their best work.  She has worked with a number of clients including Frost Brown Todd, Shaw Contract, Deloitte and other professional and financial services firms.  Victoria is NCIDQ and LEED certified and received a Bachelor’s in Interior Design from Florida State University.

Cyndi Whitmer, MBA, CCIM, Associaate Real Property Appraiser

Cyndi is currently studying to be a certified general appraiser.  Cyndi has previous experience in real estate which includes ownership and rehabilitation of investment property, sales of residential property, underwriting and financing of commercial investment property (multi-family, office, retail and industrial).

Cyndi serves on the board for WCRE, Women in Commercial Real Estate and has been an active member for many years.  She was Finance Panel Moderator for KCREC in 2019.  She enjoys staying involved in the commercial real estate sector.

Cyndi received her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Western Kentucky University and her MBA from Webster University.  She is a member of Kentucky, Greater Louisville Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors and CCIM of Kentucky.
